this is actually one of the better trades I've seen for Hanifin. Good D prospect, Good young F in need of a change of scenery and a decent pick. This trade is Dutchie approved.

I like this one too actually.. only thing is the Rangers may need/want another forward, and also have Fox, Schneider, Miller and Gustafsson as offensively capable-ish D-men, and would be quite crowded there .. Fox, Trouba, Schneider, Lindgren, Miller, Gustafsson, Jones who can already play, with Harpur and Mackey as call-up options, and the Rangers should want to upgrade up front before upgrading the D anyway in my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong though! But, just one more guy up front so if the stars go quiet for a few games, there's someone else who can regularly step up and score, is what I'd go for.

But I'll take it as a Flames fan.
