Did you completely miss what else is going back? Blackwood has been great, Duclair is easily worth a 2nd, and Bordeleau is a very solid prospect.

the more Campbell plays at the AHL level makes him more undumpable

I think the term was the only thing bad about the campbell contract at the time he was worth 4-5M a year at the time it should have only been a 3 year contract max
