RhD Jordan Spence is more valuable to us than LhD Philip Broberg, who I see has been sent down to Bakersfield.

Alex Turcotte still looks like he has more potential than Ralph Lavoie, and we can afford to be patient with him.

Why you think that we would pay a second and a seventh for a third and Jack Campbell (with or without his awful contract) is utterly beyond me.

In short, take out Spence, Broberg and the second and we still wouldn't have a deal because of the cap problem that would create for us.

Not even close to a trade LA would accept. EDM would have to offer 1st no matter what to dump Campbell and add more significant pieces and you’re upgrading your defense without helping LA.

I like Beecher and Freddy is great but that trade makes Poitras a "4th liner" behind Nuge, Zacha and Coyle for a bit while he develops more.
