The funniest thing is that everybody has this way of thinking about Kuemper except for us Caps fans. Because we watch every game and realize that our defense is awful. Kuemper has been great. Sure, there's a goal here or there that he should have, but not everybody is Ilya Sorokin. It would take you at least two firsts, and probably more, to get the Caps to trade Kuemper and take on Campbell in the same deal. And the Caps would probably still say no because who tf wants to have Cal Petersen 2.0

Kuemper has had a few bad game this season, but he’s also playing in front of a young defense learning a new system.
He still has way more value than Campbell who’s not playable at this point.

Yes, as said above, two firsts would have to be going to Caps in this trade.

Matt Murray won a cup. That part is irrelevant. Goalies are very inconsistent performers except for the best. Kuemper has been average for over a year now. Asking for a first or 2 just doesn't make any sense vs other goalie trades.
