Weegar for 8yrs takes him to 37yrs old. Don’t see him a target if a 1st is involved. The package also doesn’t help the Flanes greatly.

Jets trade is reasonable if they want a fast winger but Idk about that.

Overall I think PA has somebody or something else in mind with the Flames not rumoured to be getting calls from PA.

What do you think of a Weegar trade of Myers, 1st, 2nd and Brzustewicz if:
Brzustewicz is around 1.6-1.7 points per game at the deadline; and
Myers keeps playing like this and has flipping value 50% retained (say 3rd-4th).

I don't think Weegar is remotely available but I guess thats ok. Idk much about Brzustewicz admittedly

Fair enough, it was more if Calgary was shopping him. If he's not available then its moot cause either you can't get him or this is no where enough since you'd need a big overpay to get it done. Brzustewicz is an RD taken in the 4th round of last year's draft but is currently playing amazing at almost 2 2-point-per-game per game rate. So if he can be somewhere around 1.6-1.7 over the year, he'd be in very good company, obviously.
