if they had a top 3 pick last year i would say go for it but i think its still a year too early for SJ to make a move like this. on the other hand though even with nylander they could still be the worst team in the league next year!

I have to agree while I love Nylander and the idea of getting him I doubt we woe him unless marleau can pitch the hell out of us! Him Hertl Celebrini and Smith combined with Zadina and Eklund is a fantastic top 6 potential.
The problem is our D is still 2-3 years from being competent much less good. Though Blackwood is surprising me

agree agree, my thinking was we are basically just a team in a cooler blue so why wouldn't he join . I didn't put celebrni in here cuz sharks dont win the lottery and im half expecting them to change the lottery rules again

Worst case scenario sharks are third overall and the top three of this draft is actually really good and each of the top 3 provide skill and need!

Hope is Nylander wants to be in a city that doesn’t scrutinize him and Marleau and a huge wad of cash can coax him here! If we could get Celebrini in the draft and Nylander in 24 and a say a Hensler RD in 25 draft plus a #1 D in FA the sharks would be in great shape with a legit top 6 and top 4! As long as guys progress and the goaltending gets ironed out, either with Blackwood or a new guy if needed.

thats kinda what I was thinking - I think we could get our 1D in this draft + another solid D, and pick up a nice prospect to finish up the forward group in 25. Haltsy looks like an ANIMAL right now too but it's early.

Only true #1RD I see in this draft is Levshunov.
The rest are more top 4 guys, but they can mature into decent top line guys!
This draft (for me) Sharks would be wise to grab Celebrini or Eiserman. Then look at a Top 4 D like Elick or Yakemchuk with the Pittsburg pick.
But 25 the goal is Hensler for me! Big RD with really good Offensive skill and solid D and plus skating for a bigger kid. He looks like a top 10 #1 D kind of player (think Nemec or Jiricek)
Still bummed we missed Mintyukov with the 11th pick in 22! He looks legit at just 19 already top 4 min in ANA

Agree agree agree, except I think there are a few more people who could be a legit top pair guy in this draft. I agree if we are top 2 for sure I think that we need to get eisermann or celebrity, but given the sharks lottery history I am not super optimistic. My dream draft this year is Celebrini and Kiviharju or Silayev if they are still available with the pens pick

See my Ideal Is Yakemchuk, big RD good wheels I see him as a solid 2nd or 3rd pair 2 way guy.
