Sorry, but it doesn't make sense. Raymond was picked 4th overall and has the 2nd most points from the whole 2020 Draft class. Tucotte, Dufour, Eklund has potential, but they haven't proved anything at the NHL level yet.

If Raymond was ever traded it would be in a package for a superstar. These moves just pushes the rebuild back and gets us more Quantity.

This is a homer take, but I like Eklunds game better than Raymond. I think in the long term Eklund will be a better player and even though Raymond has had a great season in the NHL already, it's not worth trading a potential first along with Eklund

I mean, Raymond would be a welcome addition to NYI. This would be a no-brainer. But I don't see any reason why Detroit would move him.
