As much as I hate to say this, you should be going for Celebrini.

I’ll be happy with Celebrini, Eiserman, or Levshunov.
But if we fall out of the top 3 and don’t get one of those 3 this season will be a failure.

No they are weakest at RD and Goaltending.
At C they have Couture Hertl Granlund and Sturm right now with Smith, Bordeleau, and Bystedt in the prospect pool. Now Celebrini would allow Smith to move to RW so that works just fine, and if they go Eiserman they could move Eklund to C and Smith to RW again sharks would be just fine. If they get neither Levshunov would give the sharks their biggest need (big offensive RD).

The biggest issue is while this draft has good talent, the top 3 is heads and shoulders above the rest.

To be fair that was the B team and only had a l handful of regulars. Still Eklund and Muk looked great!
But I think only 7 guys who will break camp with the sharks played last night (Sturm Eklund Blackwood Labanc and Vlasic Ferraro & Knyzhov) and of that 7, 1 top 4 D and maybe 1/2 top 6 forwards.

all true but vlassic and Ferraro - did all but confirm our struggles of getting the puck out of our zone.

We are going to see a lot of dump and chase this year no doubt. Even if Thrun Gawanke and Muk all made the team they are young and won’t have the confidence to Cary the puck out for a few years.

the goaltending will be horrid, no idea if the D will even score 20G combined, lose lots of 4-2 games.

Plus I think he moves UFA's at the deadline to prevent the late season surge. that one week of 8 pts killed us last march

I have a feeling Kahkonen rebounds to a serviceable Goalie (near 0 goals saved above expected) and the offense looks good. If the D can just be solid in their own zone (could care less if they score just want solid D)

I wonder if they are going to try to play a more defensive shell and try to eack out 2-1 wins or just let the kids run and play 6-5 games

I have more faith in a Blackwood bounce back then Kahkonen. He was clearly a creature of the Wild's system.

Smart money is not push the D outside their comfort zone and be stronger in the D zone with Karlsson gone.
But if Quinn doesn’t adjust like a good coach and pressures the D to push play they could wind up with a lot of 5-3 6-4 losses

Kahkonen has looked really good in training camp and clearly Nabokov is starting to rub off on him.
