Logan is hoping to be back for the start of the season but we will see. This is my best guess at the lines if he isn't ready to go. He will take the second line center position from Bordeleau once he's back. Most interesting thing about the Sharks this year is their abundance of NHL wingers. None that are elite but plenty of legit NHL options which will make for some interesting line combos.
The defense... is a mess. Lots of bodies, none that are overly exciting. I really like Thrun and think he will be a solid piece but he will likely be getting some seasoning in the AHL to start the year. I penciled him in here because he's been paired with Rutta for the start of camp but think that Burroughs or Knyzhov will probably be in his spot. I expect Simek to be the 7th Dman most nights but with injuries + inconsistency I'm sure he'll get 35-45 games this year.
This team is gonna be tough to watch all year and is going to look drastically different after the deadline. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm just glad Sharks hockey is back.
