Pens probably would accept as long as Saad has a healthy year this year and continues his consistency of 20ish goals and 50ish points

Yea it depends on what happens with Jake G

Jake I think is going to be fine and will probably be resigned around 8ish mil (would be my estimate) and based on that I believe if cap increases to the 87.5 its projected that they can fit both Saad and Jake well under cap


Just looked if Pens did and signed Jake to 8x8 for next year and then are able to get RFAs signed around the 1 mil mark besides the traded Hallander they would have roughly 1.675 mil to spend on a 3RHD for next season and then add in AHL depth signings

Cool he’d be very good depth I think, I do think he gets moved out from Stl giving there prospects and if they wanna resign Vrana or Kappy

The only thing I might do different is if this trade happens leading up to or at the draft making it the '24 2nd instead of the '26 (Mainly as '26 draft pick could actually become serviceable in the post 87 71 era the '24 less likely to be a difference maker and can be utilized to maximize window)
