There are some bold choices here... Tkachuk > Marner (yes even defensively), Barkov > Matthews defensively, Haula????? He's awful defensively, Jarnkrok is good but there's better options.

No, it doesn't. It means above replacement level. As in, a 13th forward or 7th defenseman. He's BARELY above that and he gets sheltered...

That's not how Z scores work. A Z score is how many standard deviations you are above average. But thanks for coming to me and showing you don't understand statistics.

I'm pretty sure they only use expected goals and CORSI, not xGAR
