Take Rasmussen out of the deal

Ok the Leafs GM likes big players so it's an absolute must have for rasmusten

No deal, he's better as a winger anyways

He can also play throughout the lineup even use him in shut down on the 4th line with Kampf and laffy

Red Wings won't trade Rasmussen

We are starting him in the 3c slot but he can play wing and we can put Domi in the 3c

Then they won't get Nylander I think..

That is a big price for Rasmussen. Matta is a throw in, Fabbri is fine but not a difference maker and not what the Leafs need.

Also, Isn't Maxime Comtois part of the Team Canada sexual assault case? They still haven't revealed the names but I think (I do not know - just deducing) Formington and Comtois were two of the 4 or 5 players in the room.
Meaning, Comtois is likely not a guy you will be signing to your team.

Rasmussen was really good last season for the Red Wings. He was good as a third line center but even better as a second line winger. He makes a big impact on the forecheck as a winger. One of the only players the Red Wings have like that which makes him even more valuable. They traded for Klim Kostin but I wouldn't move Rasmussen unless you can replace what he brings in another trade. If the Wings could trade for Yakov Trenin then I would move Rasmussen but I would rather give you Raymond or Berggren

Oh that's terrible I haven't been following that at all, hopefully they are all cleared as soon as possible so they can get signed to a team, it's not like the Fleury case or anything I know a little about the story seems all very political which is sad to the victims and most of all the fact that the Leafs can't get comtois now ridiculous.

It's funny too because every other acgm Leafs team signs comtois I don't think anybody cares about that silly hockey Canada battle with politics and journalist running a crazy story it's such a mess everyone tapped out

So our Coach and GM at the end of their season presser, Said that we need to get bigger and stronger upfront. So yeah we trade our 6'6" behemoth in Michael Rasmussen. Pass give up the notion right now that we're trading either Rasmussen or Soderblom Detroit is still a pretty small team upfront.
