too much for laf, hes unproven and has played abysmal so far with only one year left on his contract. Reichel is a top prospect and adding a first and a second is far too much.

Absolutely horrible for the Hawks, it’s almost like you don’t realize Lafreniere’s value has dropped due to his inconsistent and underwhelming play so far in his NHL career. Honestly, I’m not sure I would trade Reichel straight up for him now.

I am sure, that I would NOT trade Reichel for Laf straight up. Maybe Id give them the TBL pick if the team believes in him

Reichel has a better ppg than Laf albeit in way less games. Plus Reichel's a much better skater and fits the Hawks rebuild plans far better. I don't think its outrageous to predict Reichel will have a better season than Laf next year. Hawks would be asking for Laf plus to even consider moving Reichel.
