Minus the fact that Shattenkirk will likely get longer term (which I do not approve of teams doing, but he probably will) I think the roster looks pretty good, minus the fact that Pulock won't be the 7th D..he can't be sitting games at his age.

Love the Shatty deal, love signing de Haan, love trading Kulemin, LOVE the Duchene deal (maybe add in Dal Colle because Sakic is a prick)... but that Detroit deal is horrible. We just have to wait one more year for either Soderstrom or Sorokin to make it to the NHL (scouts are saying both will be NHL ready within a year if they aren't already), so why waste money on a declining Howard? I'm not exactly thrilled about Halak being in the crease, but he's still shown signs of life at the end of last season. Howard is just declining to the tune of 11m more dollars over the next two years.

Every other deal is fine though.
