He only said no to the leafs when he was “committed to the rebuild in Anaheim”. If he gets the chance to go to a loaded up leafs to make a run… I think he would take it.

Leafs are going to have to move somebody to make room now that they signed Bertuzzi and it's probably going to have to be one of the 4 for 40 forwards. They can't trade Tavares, want to keep Matthews and probably Marner which leaves Nylander as the odd man out.

If so Calgary would be one of many teams that beats this offer.
