Lohrei will most likely not be ready to play full time NHL this year

You can replace Lohrei with Zorbil and nice Reilly Walsh into the roster at $832,500. I hope any team would take Forbort for future considerations. I’d give up Cole Spicer to get off the contract

He’s not terrible. He’s a solid penalty killer and gets in front of pucks, but I think they need to see what Zboril can do a year removed from the ACL injury. Two years ago, I thought he was developing into something very usable.

My belief is they will just bury Forbort in Providence or trade Grzelcyk to make room for Bergeron. My guess is they bury Forbort and he can rejoin the team if LTIR implications hit

He may pass the penalty kill eye test but if u look at the stats Grz preformed better on the PK last year. He also wasnt the same after coming back from that injury so maybe it just wasnt healed but im gonna pass on having him on the team

You may not have a choice. My preference is finding a team willing to take him outright now that free agency is basically done
