Holl must be buried on that 3rd pair at all costs until he is properly wiped from Toronto's poor coaching. So I see it as 2nd pair Chiarot and Gostisbehere. 3rd pair Maatta and Holl. Spare Lindstrom.

It does seem as a 1st line winger is coming via trade--but with DeBrincat's list of 5 teams he would re-sign with (and the fact Nashville and Dallas used up their cap space) and Florida's (lack of it). Yzerman may not want to give up assets and just re-visit signing him as an UFA next summer.
