I think Jost is the most likely signing of this roster here. The more I think about it, if we don't re-up Helm or Cogliano he fits the role we need the most down on the 4th line. Especially if we want Meyers on the 3rd line. I think Duchene's price is 5 minimum.

Yeah, the only thing about Duchene is if he gets 4+ why didn't Nashville trade him 50% retained? They don't really need the cap room so wouldn't it make sense for a team to pay assets to get Duchene at that, but yeah I find it very unlikely as well, and he probably should get 5-6, I just want Duchene back cause he used to be my favourite player

Same. He and I are the same age and his draft year was AWESOME for me. I loved watching him come right out of junior and play for us. That being said, I think his style of play is the exact opposite of what we are built around right now.

I disagree, he's got the speed and skill to play in the avs style, if it's a grit thing I think when Joe said that it was for the bottom 6, but why do you think his style wouldn't work?
