Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

- Fast re-signs
- We don’t pursue TDA and trade for EK instead
- Essentially Soucy replaces Pesce’s role and pairs with Burns
-March brings goals and thump
-Duch can play 2C/3C or winger if the canes want to go Aho/KK/Staal/young guy (Pono/Suzuki)
- Canes rely on D for offense more than any team and there are now 3 goals scorers (1 on each pair).
- Keeps money for the deadline or to re-sign Patches
- Keeps the draft picks we know the Canes love

We’ll see… most trades of late are delivering far fewer returns than fans expect… Especially those for players with high salaries in this flat cap world. Just remember, there’s only a couple of teams that have both the ability to contend and take on EK’s salary. This is less about retaining $4 million and more about a team being willing to pay $30 for 4 years million moving forward..

As dialed in as you 2 are (MoSeider53/ONLYFAIRTRADES1), I definitely trust LeBrun more: “If Karlsson is traded as a $9.5 million player, there’s probably very little return. If he’s at $8 million, there should be some return there for the Norris Trophy winner. If you can get Karlsson all the way down to a $7 million player, then San Jose can really look at a return.”

This ACGM is at $7.5. - between “some return and a return”
