True but Zadina could be considered a cap dump too. He's looking more like an overpaid AHL player than what you expect from a player taken 6th OA and getting paid 1.8 mil/year. Taking him on even as a project would be risky.

Toffoli is a tough player to judge.

I like to think of him as sneaky good due to high hockey IQ. You don't really notice him most of the time other than his skating and that isn't in a good way. Yet his skating isn't as bad as people think, it isn't pretty nor is it fast but it's really not all that bad or terribly slow. He's not known for his defensive play but he is defensively responsible always in the right spot you rarely see him being the guy getting beat on something that should never happen. You just don't notice him much then just when you forgot he was on the ice he suddenly gets into a position for a great scoring chance and scores a goal leaving you wondering where the heck he came from.
