Why in the world would we want the retired Jonathan Bernier or the only slightly faster Milan Lucic?!?!?

Dubois is a horrible idea for a team which needs a starting goalie much, much more, and Freddie isn't coming that cheap.

Lucic adds cheap veteran grit, to a team that desperately needed it these past 2 playoffs.

Bernier was this year’s “Copley”, a cheap veteran that can mentor Portillo in Ontario and add veteran depth.

Anderson, Jary, Korpi plus Copley will work just fine this season. All the best goalies in the NHL, and who lifted the Cup? Hill, Quick, and Brossoit.

PLD adds offense, allows Byfield to mature, and puts LAK Kopitar, PLD, Danault down the middle.
