Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Crack a deal with Trotz to bring in his guys on expiring contracts and get rid of Duchenes contract. The same hit is coming in that’s going out. I don’t know what draft pick would be attached but I’m just putting the basis of the trade. Then bring in OEL. Idk if he could be an option at RD but take a chance on him having a bounce back season.

Probably works for Nash based on the RoJo deal. As a Canucks fan who tried to support OEL, year 1 in Van was solid but last year was terrible. He's toast.....

Fair to have concerns about injuries and Johansson. But it didn't sound like his knee was serious. A few months rehab time. Duchene had one outlier year last year. 8M for avg 50 pts? Maybe the market is crazy but he's overpaid. I wouldn't want to retain for three years either but I could see them wanting nearly 7m in cap space for a first.

I have a feeling that we could get better for Duchene if we wait until next year to trade him. 2yrs at 6m (2m retained) for a 65-85 point guy should get us a decent return

It was serious, to the point where Joey himself was concerned about his role on the team.
Regardless, Nashville needs to keep Duchene. He’s one of their only proven scorers.
