Again, as cool as it would be to bring in the hometown kid, Seattle's depth at forward and especially on the wing would likely prohibit him from getting opportunities to succeed. Additionally, considering he failed to succeed (produce offense) when given opportunities with 2 of the world's best offensive players last season, it doesn't do much to inspire the Kraken to add him and move someone else down the depth chart or off the team entirely. (?)
Helping a division rival to free up cap space in order to improve their roster is none too appealing, either!
