NYR could consider Goodrow for Beauvillier swap, but not at the cost of a 1st rounder. Goodrow doesn't cost anything to buyout the next two years (if they go that route). By the time his buyout charge actually kicks in, 1) the cap is going to be much higher and 2) most expensive NYR contracts are off the books by then. So NYR have no real incentive to pay someone to take his contract.
