As a Jets fan, I don't know that he does. I'd certainly like more, but the Jets are under pressure to make room for young players and there aren't that many teams who can take the cap space for a guy who ads very little offense.
Honestly I just expect Vancouver to offer sheet Logan Stanley for $4M at this point and screw all of us over again.

Zero reason to buy out Myers and Bear would probably be on a 1 year contract if signed. Also don't think Dermott would get that much since he only played 11 games this year.

That's awfully early for Simashev, especially since Sandin Pellikka will probably still be on the board at #11.

Since you're new, you probably don't know that Anaheim has a standing offer of their 2024 sixth for the Vancouver 2024 third and Myers once his $5 million signing bonus is paid, which (as you point out) obviates the need to buy Myers out.

I don't see Sandin Pellika going past pick 9 tbh. And I just found out Myers buyout puts 5mil in dead cap lol. Jim Benning man…

On some mock drafts I've seen him going as low as #17.
