Can't remember now. Was a while back when his name was in circulation pre-cup run IIRC that it was said the core didn't want him for some reason, and we certainly know they get consulted on such things. Of course it may also just be an ugly rumour started by media that's been propounded further on here (in which case I would be guilty as charged myself lol). There are other articles that 'suggest' the Avs have been 'sniffing round him for years' so who knows?
