Helle has an extension in place when traded and Vilardi has a contract he's willing to sign with Jets

As much as I'd love that return as a Jets fan, there is no way Hellebuyck is worth that much. If we got either Byfield or Vilardi and a 1st I'd be ecstatic, and think Chevy knocked the trade out of the park, nevermind all of it.

Not a chance Kings do this. For starters Hellebuyck wants too big of a extension for the Kings to afford so unless he wants to settle for around what he is currently making the Kings cant afford him dollar wise. Secondly even if he came with and extension the Kings could afford and the years were good the Kings would be giving up two of their future top 6, with Kopi on the verge of retirement and more than likely Avidsson being traded this would create big holes in the line up not to mention trading away another 1st rounder 2yrs in a row for a goalie. Third and final aspect of the trade, with an extension the Kings could afford Hellebuyck still wouldn't be worth that much.

Kings hang up the phone the moment Byfield is mentioned. Helle will want too much for an extension and I think LA would swerve away from paying goalies a lot for the time being. Hellebuyck is not worth two pieces of LA's future core and more when he only has one year left on a cheap deal and wants a massive raise.
