Not a Wild fan but I'm surprised at the number of people who don't consider defense at all. Eriksson Ek is a Selke-caliber player and not having him is probably what sunk the Wild in the playoffs this year. No way under any circumstances would Minnesota trade him for one of the worst contracts in the NHL with zero retention.

I said nothing insolent about JEE, nor did I propose any of these trades. I never undermined his two way play. I never said any deal proposing him was a good one.

The "me against the world" attitude is just fun to ridicule.

That's fair, and yeah I definitely misinterpreted your tone there. I've just talked to too many people who don't consider defensive play at all and only care about points lol
