Closer to Ekholm value easy. Unfortunately he is high on our very short list of realistic trade assets; Lafreniere & Lindgren, maybe Kakko & Chytil. Return has to be best elc, not picks or big names/cap. Of course we want to keep him, but anything over 5m will be hard to swallow

Hmm. I hear ya on the Ekholm comp and all that Rangers stuff, but Nashville did not get the best ELC and they did take back veteran cap and they took two picks. Plus they gave out a small bit of retention back and weren't selling because they were pressed for cap.
