Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

So the idea here is that we trade our top picks next year to get our goalie but it's okay because we can get my personal favourite Zach Benson by trading the Cat. We sacrifice depth/quantity in our prospect pipeline to get 1 great player who should be a fantastic top 6 NHLer in a few years when Giroux isn't as good or has retired. Benson along with Hart significantly lengthens the Sens window of competetiveness.

Hart is supposedly officially on the block now.

We sign Bertuzzi and Brown so we are competetive next year and should definitely make the playoffs.

If Leafs don't buyout Murray, I guess we trade Forsberg for a mid pick and run with Fergy as our backup.

Athrin please don't start commenting that Hart is maybe worth a 2nd rounder please.

Stone and Zbad are better than anyone on you’re team right now and it’s not close. If it wasn’t for Hoffman’s wife the sens could have been good. But this new core is nowhere near the talent level of Karlsson,Stone,Zbad,turris,Hoffman,Pageau ect. You guys WERE stacked. Now the sens probably miss the playoffs for a 7th straight year

This is simply false. The sens were able to turn an aging core into a fantastic group of young players.

Can definitely see the caps going after Debrincat. Highly doubt 8OA is a part of that deal. 2024 1st, lapierre, maybe a 2nd seems about right

Zero chance you get that high of a pick for Debrincat, even if the team works out a contract. Also Leafs are not going to buyout Murray. It doesn't make sense. Won't be an outrageous cost to move him.
