DAL will have some depth to support Pavelski and Seguin .
He can carry the bulk of the Faceoffs and Defensively he's capable of shutting down the top NHL players.
He doesnt take Penalties but plays well on special teams

I'd suggest 2 for 2 with Robertson and C.Kyrou
Both teams get something they can use and value

Neither waive their NMCs for this, and Dallas likely doesn't consider something like this either. Benn had a fantastic season under DeBoer this season and comes at a price tag that's $1.5M cheaper than Tavares.



Benn was one of the best faceoff players in the league this year and brings a physical game that Tavares doesn't. Don't see Dallas trading their captain of 10 years who's coming off of a near PPG season.

Also can't see them doing a Robertson for Kyrou swap. RD is a massive organizational need for Dallas, Kyrou had a very good year in the OHL, and Robertson's value is at it's lowest simply because he can't stay healthy. I see the thought process you're going through and I get it, but I just don't think that deal would make sense for the Stars given where their organization sits right now.

this will fix toronto. replacing the slow, aging forward with a slower, even older forward who'll probably get suspended within the first 5 minutes of the playoffs.
