I like the idea of buying low on Comtois and I think the value is solid there for Teuvo, but no one is paying an asset for Murray. Looking at how many draft picks the Leafs have given up recently, I feel like the best option would be to buy Murray out rather than add a sweetener to a trade.

This is the first Toronto / Carolina trade that has made somewhat sense in a way. I could see Carolina doing something like this if Fast doesnt re-sign in Carolina, and that first rounder would be a nice assest to package elsewhere for us in another deal.
