- I wouldn't sign Hanzal to 5yrs, maybe 2 or 3.
- I don't think we need Vanek.
- Would have to give up more to get VGK to take #14
- Anaheim maybe does that deal, it depends on who VGK takes from them.

I've always thought Scherbak will end on Anaheim somehow

that is one hell of a scoring 3rd line though

- Im ok with signing Hanzal for 5 years at 3.5m. That is a bargain. He'll cost closer to 5M x 5 years in free agency.
- MB will not get Vanek back. Even if he would be a missing piece, MB wouldn't take him back out of spite and pride.
- If we give Vegas a 3rd maybe a 2nd, it should entice them to take Plekanec. Otherwise they'll take Hudon who contrary to what every single Habs fan thinks isn't as good as they make him out to be.
- Anaheim would not do this deal. Why would they? They want to keep him and they already have a side deal in place with Vegas. Scherbak has low value at the moment. Davidson is a 5-7 dman. The 2nd isn't going to be high either.
