The Ducks have a deal in place with Vegas they will not lose Manson and they also might not lose Vatanen. What people don't realize is the trade was completed a couple of weeks ago. So at that time ANA would tell VGK that they would trade Vatanen and buyout Bieksa. Rather than get Vermette or someone similar they get a 2nd Round Pick or so to just leave him alone.

You are not getting Manson. Period. The Ducks aren't moving him and Vegas is not taking him.

Thornton is very happy in San Jose, he will not leave. Besides, why spend $4 mil on him when you could re-sign a much better defensive player in Bonino for less money?

Manson trade is unrealistic and you didn't add it to the cap. They just won back to back cups. They don't need big moves, just smart ones to keep good role players around their core (Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Letang, Maatta, & Murray).
