Description

Competitive team that could sneak into playoffs if Vrana/Kap/Blais keep up production from second half of 22-23 and if Monahan can stay healthy.

But really, main goal is to have lots of money off the books for '24 offseason. Also, one less year on the Krug/Leddy contracts makes them easier (not easy) to move.

Sunny hasn't played much C since he left STL. Don't think Alexandrov is ready for 3C, but could definitely be the 4C. I just didn't know what to do with all our wingers. Truly don't believe Buch will be a full time center this season so wanted to sign someone that will take a 1 year deal who wins a majority of faceoffs that could be flipped at TDL if needed (i.e. Monahan, Haula).
