I like it. Not the biggest deal, but I think we could do better with with 2.5 million than JVR. He also makes our team slower than it already is, which has been a major problem. If that’s the cost to dump Murray, I think they’ll go the buyout route. I think we could fetch one of CHI late 2nds in exchange for Murray and the 1st, but I’d still prefer not to. Not sure if that’s the right price for Roslovic but I really like him as 3C.

I was gonna but the sharks have two 4ths this year but only one 4th next year, and they don't have their 3rd for next year either so I felt it made more sense to have a 4th round pick in both drafts rather than two this year and neither a 3rd or 4th next year

only picked jvr cuz of his size. he's a consistent 20+ goal scorer up until last season but i see the argument of him being too slow. Zucker was another option but I wanted to leave a little cap wiggle room for trades mid-season.

In this draft i'm just as happy with a 3rd and 4th as a 2nd cuz it's a very deep class. I was thinking chicago but we dumped mrazek on them last year and i feel like they want to sign someone like Nedelkovic in FA instead of two cap dump goaltenders.

Robertson honestly needs a fresh start on a new team and a smaller market with less pressure, I think the toronto media killed him after his 55 goal season in the ohl and after he didn't live up to the hype he lost all confidence. the 3rd rounder might be a little much i agree but villenueve would be our like 10th choice defenceman so he's not really able to develop much more
