I like Josephs game but he isnt worth that contract meaning he is in fact a cap dump. Either take someone like Simek back or send a 2nd to be realistic.

Something like this is realistic but doubt they give Gudas that. Probably looking at a 1 x 1.2 for Hamonic on the bottom pair. Boston probably matches that tho

A second is what it costs to offload an AHLer on a $5 million contract. Not a guy who's playing like a $2.25 million player but makes $700k too much.

Then keep him if hes only 700k overpaid. Youre also not considering term. When you trade a 3 mil guy for a 7th that screams that something is wrong. Sharks arent going to pay for your cap flexibility, send a sweetener or trade him elsewhere.
