No reason to move back 3 spots if that is the return, a 2nd is not much

If they don't want to take Michkov at 5, then moving back makes the most sense instead of reaching on Dvorsky or Reinbacher. Moving back only 3 spots to get the guy they want and receive the 40th pick in a very deep draft class I think is a good return. They could also make a package involving that pick and others to then move up also.

as shown last year, habs could not care less with reaching for players, they have done it with first overall, third overall with kk a d will do it with the fifht if the want.

They definitely reached on KK, but they did not reach last year on Slaf.

Is was a race between Wright and Slaf, or at least, that was what the media showed. There should have been no “race” Slaf was clearly better than Wright
