To get Matthews, you’d need to offer at least Cooley, Keller, your current first, next year’s first, and something else too.

Maple Leafs should get alot less... and by less I mean absolutely nothing! Why? Because if Matthews goes to Arizona, it will be as a UFA and Maple leafs will just have to cry as he walks at Free Agency.

I'm assuming he will likely resign and this will never happen, but If I was him, I would definitely consider going back home and leaving the noisy market that is Toronto. Basically be a similar thought process to Johnny Hockey.
