"2023 2nd becomes 2025 1st if the Islanders make it to the ECF in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs."

The Coyotes would have already used 2023 2nd before the 2024 playoffs. How exactly are they going to retroactively upgrade that to a 1st?
