There is an extremely low chance that this would happen but I think there is a world where Keller is unhappy with the situation in Arizona, or wherever else they end up, and asks for a trade. The recent comments by his dad could be a hint at that although I don’t know how much of what his dad said is actually true. From the hawks perspective why wouldn’t you want to add a guy like Clayton Keller, he’s young and under contract and could be a building block along side Bedard. Davidson has already said he doesn’t want to use all of the picks he has this year so why not use them to aquire a proven top line player instead of trading up to get a higher end prospect. As far as the value goes I’m not exactly sure what Keller’s value is. I’m assuming it’s similar to Timo Meyer, probably a bit more.
