I doubt Gritsyuk is ready for NHL minutes, nevermind heavy minutes with Nico. He can cook in Utica. Holtz deserves a chance in the top 6 anyway.

I added JVR instead of Tatar because of his size and can still score, and plus he’s cheaper… traded Smith because Bahl should be a regular in the lineup, not a 7th anymore and I doubt they’d keep Smith scratched pretty much all season.
Gritsyuk yea he can go to the A and swap with Holtz so Lazar can be in the lineup and just move JVR up with Haula & Palat

There's no such thing as a team without a 7th defenseman. That's why we have Smith in the first place.
