Description

The answer is not to blow up this core, just get a better coaching staff and let chemistry develop. This is what they have to work with. It needs to be given time. No amount of Dolan fits will change this reality positively. There are no roster moves they can make that will meaningfully positively benefit this team. Only take low risk/high reward bets that don't take up top 6 spots.

This team could easily be one of the most consistent contenders if they were run well. Managed expectations and a real long term plan. However, that would require ownership to really want cups. For as long as I've lived they've been content exchanging assets for a few games of extra revenue.

Not trying to pick on you because ive seen it a lot but i think NYR fans are underestimating how much its going to cost to resign Miller long term. Buying UFA years will be in the 7mil range.

I hear you. It's such a trip how people view Miller, like they don't watch him play at all. If he gets OS at a higher price than this, you let him walk. Let another team sign Tyler Myers 2.0. 13/18 of the teams eligible to do that were lottery teams this year. He'll be better if he's given time to develop, but I don't like the odds of him being able to live up to that deal given what he's looked like here.
