IMO, EK65 would be a huge risk and doesn't really fit the timeline of the Kraken

Totally see the risk but man he would look really nice with Soucy/Oleksiak while Dunn/Larsson take the top comp. Guys in his tier just age differently too.

I think the Sharks would be interested in a framework similar to the one you proposed with the same amount of retention.

They may have more interest in David Goyette and Ty Nelson than Firkus. He kinda profiles similar to a lot of existing SJ prospects.

I would propose something like

Justin Schultz
Chris Driedger

Picks:
Seattle 2023 1st
Jets 2023 2nd

Grier would probably ask for Nyman over Firkus. Sharks need more size in the prospect pool.

It's a bad idea to trade all that for karlsson, it's a great story this year but I can't see him holding up for 4 more years.
