Hi gdg. Hope you're wrong about some of these signings making the Leafs. Just hope some younger and potentially better players. Frattin, Setoguchi, Glengross, Brennan are not really long term material, maybe even short term material for the Leafs.

This is the team as it stands now, including guys signed to PTO's.

Notice most of those guys are listed as on the "5th" or "6th" line.
The Leafs have way too many depth forwards right now. They will need to make some trades and/or release some guys from PTO's before the season starts.

Ya I don't think Setoguchi will be making the team due to Glencross and Boyes singing PTOS as well. A lot of the guys (Frattin, Carrick etc) will be in the AHL I think.
The point of signing all these 1 year UFA is to get picks at the TDL but also to make it very difficult for the youth to make the team. Which is a good thing as it allows them to develop
