Panarin needs to go before goody IMO, goody does his job. Panarin is just hot ass and consistently just tries to make cute no look passes and turns the puck over

Devils changed their playing style from game 2 to 3 and Rangers aren’t able to stop it

Gerard Gallant in a nutshell: he has no adjustments other than:
1. Play harder, north/south, Yada, yada
2. Blend the lines

Same thing happened last year.
I believe same thing happened on every HC job he had…did go to SCF w/ Vegas- but thanks to MAF insane save %.

Devils’ coaching found a way to make it much more difficult for NYR to enter the O zone.
NYR have been unable to solve this adjustment
Not to mention that NYR have found a way to make a goalie- who was a desperation plug in for game 3- very comfortable.

Blame the players? Sure- they are the ones out there who (as times have gone bad) seem listless with no push back. But I think frustration has a lot to do with no decent plan of how to attack the Devils’ adjustments.

No question the Devils are the hungrier team and are willing to play outside their comfort zone and do whatever it takes to win, something most of the Rangers are not willing to do. Same thing vs TB last year, they may have been out coached but the players also got out worked, out hustled and out played.

That's what it looks like to me but I'm an outside observer. Seems like NJ has adjusted and NYR haven't changed a damn thing outside of minor top 6 tinkering with the lines now and then.
