So Arizona doesn’t move anything of value and gets everything back?

In what world do you think Minnesota actually do thus? Also Minnesota doesn't want Jake G again and our gm isn't paying the price you are asking for the 3rd time in last week

Lawson Couse? I would think that 2 firsts and a decent prospect would be a starting point for a 24 year old top six winger with his size who is signed to a reasonable contract. Plus the Pens get Fischer. The 3rd round pick is for retaining Jake's salary.

And why can you understand Minnesota doesn't want him, nor will ever pay this price? Funny you made the most biased proposal ever

Crouse is a third liner getting played as a 1st liner. He deserves 1 first maybe.

I think you are underestimating the Sheriff's value. He's a top six winger with Grit. Possible future team captain. Think Doan.

I think you’re vastly overrating a player who just gets big minutes on one of the worst offensive cores in the nhl. Think of 2018/19-22/23 Lucic

Lol. And here I thought I was gonna get blasted for being a homer.

How is this so bad for Pittsburgh when they're getting back a big, tough top-six forward who is 24 and signed to a good deal, two gritty 3rd line wingers with size, a top-tier prospect, and a second pick and all they are giving up is Jake (who will turn 30 and is in a contract year), Smith (i.e. a b-grade prospect), and a 1st and 3rd? Ohgren would immediately become their best prospect and is worth a first in his own right. So you're essentially trading Guentzel and Smith for Crouse, Foligno, Fischer, and a 2nd pick.

Maybe you just don't want to trade Jake, and I get it. I'm just of the mind that the Penguins ought not pay another 30 year old 7-8 million dollars for the next 8 years and that they need an infusion of grit, size, toughness, and youth. Crouse would instantly add that to the top six and could be that net-front guy that the team has lacked since Hornqvist left.

Buddy your way off. In what world would be trade Guentzel for an older 3rd liner, a 4th liner, and a middle 6 forward. This is not it pal.
