Description
What a game from Shesterkin and the B6. Panarin and Zibanejad winning board battles and disrupting passes just a great all-round effort. Goodrow, Trouba, Motte are so invaluable to this team and it shows in the playoffs. Game 1's mean nothing though, NJ will come out In Game 2 with everything they got so Rangers have to stay disciplined.

Roster changes made here are mainly due to Kane's inability to skate. He looks slow, lazy, just not very engaged. Might just be the hip injury but we have to drop him down and take him off PP1.

Kane looked awful. He cant shoot the puck right now. He’s basically out there as a decoy. Def need Vlad on PP1.

The biggest problem with Kane is the coaching staff decided to move Mika to the bumper position on the first PP unit, which is about as stupid as it gets, just so Kane and Panarin can pass back and forth to each other on the wings and not shoot. Thank God for Fox and Kreider, otherwise the 1st PP unit would be useless. Mika belongs in his office for his 1 timer which is the best in the league with the exception of Ovi.

Other than that, they just need to be more physical and hit the Devils even more because it's obvious it effects them and they don't like it.

Which leads to 100 passes and a Panarin blocked shot lol. I agree they have to switch it up.
