too much for Galchenyuk.. Pay more money and longer term for a copy of Schenn and giving up a pick along with it? Pass. I'll take the Schenn even if Galchenyuk scores more at 5v5 since the difference isn't significant enough to make an impact. Chuckie has 9 more ES goals over the last two years but still 4 less goals in total and 14 less points on a better team - yeah don't think we need to be adding or even handing out a $5.5M contract for that.

I would do that galchenyuk trade no doubt but I don't think MTL would. Also if Galchenyuk wasn't always being experimented between being a center other than just staying on the wing he would have even higher point and goal totals in a season imo.

It's honestly weird to me that you'd rather have Schenn over Galchenyuk
