Nice tidy work here, I wouldn't be shocked if Dubas tried to move some cap such as Murray in order to keep Bunting.

I also don't think Robertson will be playing second line mins, would be shocked if they keep him around for next season. Likely a trade chip IMO

I think you got the cap hits right for everyone, although I'm personally hoping ROR re-signs with TML for a little less lol. Under 4m/yr might be wishful thinking though since he could easily get 5m+/yr on the open market in FA. Leafs need ROR to come back though, his leadership skills & work ethic/competitiveness are both sorely needed on this team!

Also as much as I'd love Luke Schenn back again next season, I'm not sure if he sticks around because he loves Vancouver and didn't want to be traded in the first place. Plus he'd likely be a healthy scratch most nights unless the Leafs trade Rielly or Brodie in a major shakeup of the blue line this off-season. If the Leafs can convince Schenn to stay one more season, they would save an asset vs. trading for him again at next year's TDL.

I think Dubas keeps Murray just to see if he can flip him closer to the deadline for a bigger addition. Moving off of Murray seems like it would take a bunch of draft capital which by all accounts is something ownership is trying to avoid. They seem pretty adamant about having a 2023 first-round pick as reported by a number of insiders. Henrique from the Ducks intrigues me as a potential add next TDL, he fits the Dubas mould of player. Robertson is going to have to make a step or yes he'd likely be out the door, but you'd have to think his value is already at an all-time low, it doesn't make sense to move him when it's so low. Plus a lot of the advanced numbers were good to him when he was alongside Tavares and Marner, maybe they were more sheltered but those were encouraging signs. Either way, they're going to need players on ELCs to contribute a lot more in the next few years as Matthews, Marner and Nylander look to get raises on their current deals.

Schenn also seems like the type of guy to really love the fact that he's playing in Toronto, if he signs next year I wouldn't be surprised if he played 55 games and split 3rd pair minutes with Giordano and Timmins
